The Warsaw Uprising

A PragerU Kids video has been criticized by education writers for downplaying the Warsaw Uprising, the 1944 Polish resistance against Nazi occupation, in its treatment of World War II history for young students. source

George Floyd

One PragerU Kids video, part of its "Leo & Layla" history series, described George Floyd — the Black man killed in Minneapolis police custody in 2020, whose death set off nationwide protests — as "a Black man who resisted arrest." Critics have pointed to this framing as a distortion of the recorded circumstances of his death and the subsequent murder conviction of the officer involved. source

Christopher Columbus and colonization narratives

The same "Leo & Layla's History Adventures" series has drawn criticism for episodes on Christopher Columbus and on British colonization of India, which critics say cast colonization in a favorably moralized light. source

Climate science

Columbia Law School's climate program reported that PragerU's video library — including material approved for Florida's K-5 classrooms — includes content that downplays climate change and criticizes renewable energy, and that PragerU's own CEO has framed the material as a deliberate counter to what she calls climate "hysteria" being taught to children. source

PragerU's response. PragerU has publicly rejected characterizations of its content as historically inaccurate or minimizing, framing critical coverage as part of a broader effort by opponents to "label us as 'far right,' deplatform us, and keep PragerU out of schools." source
